Our View: Enterprise Greece

Enterprise Greece is undergoing a transformation. As part of the new National Extroversion Strategy, recently approved by the government, the Agency will take on a new role as the country’s hub of extroversion (see related story).


Our core mission remains to promote the sectors and products where Greece has a comparative advantage to international markets and investors. Under the new strategy, we will be engaging more deeply with the private sector and be implementing a more efficient organizational structure.

We will also have a more active role in strengthening the country’s nation brand. Among the innovative initiatives to put Greece and Greek products top of mind, will be Greek Houses abroad – multi-purpose spaces of gastronomy and Greek products. Also planned are a new byGreece platform, which will be a single marketplace for exporters to connect with foreign importers, and a myGreece platform to promote select, quality Greek products.

Greece’s economy has undergone a profound transformation over the past 10 years, opening to the outside world and becoming competitive in international markets. At Enterprise Greece, we look forward to the next stage in that exciting journey.
